Not too long ago, I picked up a camera, fell in love with photography and the rest is history. 

What's surprised me most as a photographer is the immense joy that comes from taking a photo of someone that truly captures their personality. The ones that aren't just pretty in a frame, but freeze a precious moment in time that makes your heart feel full when you see it. 

I've been lucky - I've met so many kind and loving people doing what I love. I'm watching children grow up through the photos I've taken. I got to be there as a couple married on the beach, just the two of them, and watched as the skies cleared and a double rainbow appeared as they said their vows. 

I photographed three generations of a family and then captured as the youngest brother walked his girlfriend down the beach and asked for her hand in marriage. I've looked on in awe through the lens at new mothers - holding their newborns, hugging their toddlers. 

It's been a very rewarding journey so far.
